This site, formerly owned by Graincorp, was constructed in 1965 and operated until 2015.

It occupies a long and narrow parcel of land which follows the railway line to Sunshine station approximately 400m to the north.

The site has a number of disused structures connected to its former use of grain storage. These include both steel and concrete grain storage silos, a large steel shed and various smaller outer buildings. These structures are currently being assessed for their safety and potential for future use.

We are committed to an innovative design solution that builds community pride and inspires others about the future of Sunshine.

We believe the site has an important role to play in the strategic vision of the future needs of Sunshine and are embarking on a planning process which will seek to understand and reflect the history of the site, in balance with the future practical needs of the area.
